Experience an exclusive Polar Express™ experience with our Private Observation Lounge service. Restored Illinois Central business car #7 is available to take your party of up to 12 passengers on a magical trip to the North Pole, in the lavish comfort of our observation lounge.

Each ticketed passenger will receive a commemorative cocoa mug, hot chocolate, and cookies. In addition, other complimentary beverage and snack selections are available throughout the ride. Finally, each group will receive one complimentary Polar Express storybook and one Polar Express teddy bear; additional books, bears, and other souvenirs are available from the gift shop.

Note that the Private Observation Lounge is sold to a single party of up to 12 passengers. The price includes tickets for up to 12 people of any age. There is no discount for smaller groups, though you are welcome to ride with fewer people. Additional space for 8 additional passengers can be accommodated by purchasing the Private Presidential Room and passengers of the same party are welcome to traverse the long corridor that isolates the two spaces
