Deluxe Class for The Polar Express™
Deluxe Class seating is sold per table in the Museum's Illinois Central dining car #4112. Each table seats up to four people and comes with four Deluxe Class tickets for that table.
Enjoy your Polar Express™ experience in style by riding in the elegant atmosphere of this beautiful and painstakingly restored dining car with specially themed decorations and lighting.
Each ticketed passenger will receive a commemorative cocoa mug, hot chocolate, and a cookie. In addition, other complimentary beverage and snack selections are available in Deluxe Class throughout the ride.
Note that Deluxe Class tickets are sold as tables of four. The price includes tickets at the table for up to four passengers of any age. While you are welcome to ride with a smaller group, there is no discount for tables occupied by fewer than four people.
This is the inviting view our Deluxe Class riders see as they enter the diner for the first time. The dining car is equipped with 10 four-seat tables, providing a capacity of 40 Deluxe Class passengers for each run of The Polar Express™.
This view is from the same position entering the car. The car's main lights are turned low to show the magical atmosphere of a nighttime train ride with the dining car's decorative holiday lighting.
Each table in the Deluxe Class dining car has individual table decorations like this, adding to the magical atmosphere your group will enjoy aboard The Polar Express™ when riding in Deluxe Class.
Here's another image of the typical decorations that grace each table in the Deluxe Class dining car. These decorations add to the memorable experience of your train ride, and add to the luxurious accommodations to be found in the dining car for Deluxe Class riders.
