Staley and GATX Tank Car Restorations Completed

2020 has been a hard year with little good stuff to get excited about but today the museum wants to share a wonderful project taken on by the Monticello Railway Museum. Some time ago they received 2 tank cars (1920s era) as a donation. After careful research of the era, they decided to restore and dedicate one of the tank cars in memory of the Staley Mfg. We think they have done an outstanding job in the restoration of these cars and want to give credit where credit is due. If you are interested in Railway history, please check out the Monticello Railway Museum: http://www.mrym.org/
